You don't need
to be a teacher.
No jargon. Works at your pace. Free to start. Ready to show the local authority whenever you need, and never before.
The AI never talks to your child · you see everything first · your data is yours to export or delete, any time.
Start from a moment.
A rockpooling afternoon. A baking session. A sudden obsession with volcanoes. Tell SEQUENS the moment and it finds the learning already inside it, with honest curriculum links every time.
Grouping living things
Sort what you found with a classification key.
Honest link: this is Year 4, not Year 3Coasts and tides
Why the pools appear and disappear.
Enrichment, not a curriculum objectiveRecount writing
Tell the afternoon back in order.
Curriculum: National Curriculum linkedSort them into groups
Crabs here, shells there. Say why they belong together, out loud.
Build a classification key
Yes-or-no questions that split the group. Test it on a creature you did not use.
Explain the adaptation
Why that shell, that claw, that colour, in that pool. Argue it from evidence.
When a match is really the year above, it says so. When something is pure enrichment, it is tagged as exactly that. The honesty is the point: you can trust what the map tells you later.
Or follow a plan. Or follow your child.
Prefer structure? Pick a framework, a year and a subject, and the planner cascades from the long term down to a single session, so today always knows where it sits.
Prefer freedom? Bring your own goals. SEQUENS plans toward what your family values, your child's goals, not just the National Curriculum. Home education is yours to shape; this tool follows your lead.
Every session is built on the same six-part shape the school engine uses, then shaped to your child: their reading level, what helps them, the interests that light them up. A space-mad eight-year-old gets space-themed practice; a child who needs one instruction at a time gets exactly that. Each child you add keeps their own profile, level and coverage, whether they are eight or thirteen.
No printer? Every printable has a plain-paper or talk-it-through alternative.
Coverage without the stress.
Everything you do, planned or spontaneous, lands on one quiet map: not started, introduced, practised, secure. When something secured a while ago is due a revisit, the map says so, and a five-minute practice brings it back.
Gaps are normal - every family has them. This is a map for choosing what's next, not a judgement.
Reports, when you want them.
A learning record
Narrative-led, with your approach, coverage, and a portfolio of real work. Ready if the local authority ever asks.
An end-of-year keepsake
How your child grew this year, in their proudest moments. For you, not for anyone official.
A school re-entry record
An honest picture against year expectations, if your child is returning to school.
About the new registers
England and Wales are introducing Children Not in School registers. The law passed in April 2026, but start dates are not yet set and nothing is required of you today. Home education remains lawful, and the National Curriculum remains optional.
When the registers begin, the record you already keep here is what you would draw on. No extra work, no panic.
This is information, not legal advice.
Your child. Your data.
You hold the account, not your child. Your child can be just a first name or a nickname; generating a session never requires their personal details.
The AI never talks to your child. Everything is made for you first, and you decide what reaches them.
Capture is optional. Photos of work and voice notes are off until you turn them on, and deletable the moment you change your mind. Export or delete everything you hold here, any time.
What you generate is licensed for your own family's use, not for distribution.
Built on the same evidence as the school engine.
The homeschool planner runs on the SEQUENS engine, and the engine is built on this research. Open a finding:
Little and often beats one big push.
Memory is strengthened by being used. Short retrieval, spaced out over time, keeps learning alive far better than covering something once and moving on.
We think in words and pictures, so learning uses both.
A clear explanation beside a simple, matched picture lets more be understood and more be kept than either alone, for every child, and especially for children still growing into English.
One thing at a time, pitched right, is how minds work.
Working memory is small. A session that asks for one clear thing, entered at your child's level, will always beat a crowded worksheet.
Inclusion is a foundation, not a feature.
Reaching every child, including children with additional needs and children learning English, is the condition on the whole design, not an option beside it.
Simple pricing.
Two weeks free - ten school days - to use everything with your own children. Then a price that keeps a full curriculum within reach, whatever your circumstances. One price covers your whole family, however many children you teach.
Full access, every feature, with your own children. No card to begin.
Everything you need to plan, teach and keep a record, for a fair monthly price that won't shut anyone out.
Fair-use unlimited generation and the full resource suite, for families using SEQUENS every day.
Prices confirmed at launch. You are charged nothing during the free trial, and never without telling you first. Cancel any time.
